GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi needs an Arabic Teacher to cover a maternity leave from October 2026. You will teach Arabic classes following MOE and ADEK standards and support the Arabic Department.

Education / Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language or Education (Master's degree preferred)
• Teaching qualification recognised by MOE/ADEK

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of Arabic teaching experience
• Experience with ADEK inspections, MOE compliance and departmental leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach Arabic lessons that meet MOE and ADEK curriculum standards
• Track student progress and use assessment results to improve teaching
• Follow MOE and ADEK policies and help prepare for school inspections and reviews
• Keep accurate records of student progress, assessments and reports
• Include UAE national identity, values and heritage in lessons and join national day events
• Work with the Arabic team, share resources and mentor other teachers when needed
• Keep parents updated and answer parent and student questions promptly
• Support competitions, clubs, projects and other school activities
