Education / Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, or equivalent are an advantage

Skills Required

• Hands-on work with routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks
• Working knowledge of VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Good understanding of network security
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team

Experience Required

• Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure, including enterprise network environments

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain LAN, WAN and WLAN networks
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers
• Monitor network speed, uptime and capacity
• Find and fix connectivity and configuration problems, and investigate repeated issues to stop them coming back
• Apply network security policies and access controls
• Carry out upgrades and configuration changes when needed
• Keep network documentation, diagrams and configurations up to date
• Work with internal IT teams, vendors and service providers, and take part in network projects
• Prepare regular reports on network performance and issues
