Education / Qualification

• Valid lifeguard licence or certificate from an approved authority

Skills Required

• Lifeguarding, surveillance and water rescue
• First Aid and CPR
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Good decision-making and quick response in emergencies
• Physically fit, alert and well-groomed
• Friendly, polite and guest-focused

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of lifeguard experience. Experience in a 5-star hotel is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool area at all times during opening hours and watch for risks to prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and warn swimmers about unsafe behaviour.
• Report any incident to the supervisor or manager and note daily activity in the logbook.
• Help guests on request, give general pool information and provide towel service.
• Keep the pool and nearby areas clean and tidy, and do general cleaning and maintenance.
• Test the water for chlorine and pH with a test kit and record the readings.
• Teach swimming lessons and organise pool activities such as water polo and water volleyball.
• Handle other tasks assigned by the Fitness Center Manager or Front Office Manager.

Good to Know

This role includes pool upkeep and guest service, not only supervision. Mention your lifeguard licence and years of experience clearly in your CV.
